The S.V. Jayarama Mudaliar Lakshmi Ammal Educational Trust was founded in 2014 by late famous businessman and philanthropist S.V. Jayarama Mudaliar. Shri. T.J. Sivanandam, who dreamed of establishing a world-class technology institute. He instilled in his brothers Shri. T. J. Arumugam, Shri. T. J. Desamuthu, and Shri. T.J.Govindarajan the spirit of supporting higher education, and his wishes have come true with the formation of T.J.S College of Arts and Science beginning in the academic year 2023-2024.
